Animal Fouling

Under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, any person who permits a dog that is in their charge to foul any area to which the public has access is committing an offence. The local authority is responsible for monitoring dog fouling and for taking offenders to court.

East Northamptonshire Council provides the Dog Bins throughout the town and on the recreation grounds. They are emptied by East Northamptonshire Council who are also the responsible body when it comes to imposing fines, clearing up, etc.
